Renew+Refresh Policy 2021
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our policy page to ensure that you have the best possible experience with us.
Appointments can be made online, by phone or email. Walks-ins are welcome.
All bookings two (2) or more hours in length must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number and expiry date, or a gift certificate number.
We will provide you with an appointment reminder email or phone call 48 hours prior to your appointment.
We request that you fill out the intake forms ahead of time. If you are unable to do so, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, please note that your treatment time may be shortened, or if there is not sufficient time to complete the treatment, it will need to be rescheduled. Rescheduled appointments will be subject to our cancellation policy.
If you are running behind schedule, please call us at 403-981-7600.
We understand that circumstances may require you to cancel appointments. We kindly ask that you provide us with 48 hours’ notice. A failure to provide us with notice will result in a $25.00 charge for every hour missed. Additional missed appointments will result in a $50.00 charge to your credit card or $25.00 for every hour you were scheduled, whichever is greater. If you do not show up for an appointment on a packaged item or a promotion, you will forfeit the service. We appreciate your consideration as this allows us time to make your appointment available to other clients and compensate staff for lost wages.
In the event of an unusual circumstance, we will provide you with 24 hours’ notice and will reschedule at your earliest convenience.
PLEASE NOTE: with the COVID19 Pandemic, if you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID19, we ask that you do not come to your appointment and reschedule only after you are feeling well or have received a negative COVID test. You will not be charged a cancellation fee providing 24 hours’ notice is provided.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, E-transfer, Cash and Renew+Refresh Gift Certificates.
REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXPIRIES
Gift certificates must be redeemed for products or services. No cash refunds are offered on gift certificates or pre-paid packages.
Both gift certificates and pre-paid packages may be transferred to other products or services of equal value.
Unless otherwise specified, promotional offers cannot be combined with any other sale, promotion, discount, code, coupon and/or offer. Promotions have no cash value.
All skin care products are final sale. We are happy provide samples of our products for you to try.
Pre-paid promotional service packages must be purchased upfront and are valid for one year after the purchase date.
PLEASE NOTE: if COVID 19 restrictions force Renew+Refresh to close for a period of time, the one-year time limit will be extended to account for the length of closure times.
We make every effort to ensure that clients have realistic expectations of what treatments can achieve. While we strive for the best possible results, there may be times when clients are not entirely happy with the outcome. Though we cannot provide refunds on services, we will work with you to achieve the results you desire.
Not all of our services are appropriate for minors, and others may be subject to parental consent. The minimum age to receive facials or acne treatment is 12 years. Parental consent is required for acne lasering. Please check with us prior to booking if you are under the age of 18.
Renew+Refresh has stringent systems in place to ensure that your personal information is safeguarded. The collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in done in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”) and all applicable privacy laws. Renew+Refresh only collects personal information that is necessary to provide for services for our clients.
Information collected is used for, but not limited to the following:
to determine if there are contraindications to treatment, identify any health conditions which may impede treatment or pose a risk to staff, to ensure that clients are aware of any risks associated with treatment, to contact your medical doctor in the event of an emergency, and to understand preferences and needs when accommodating a client and for contact purposes.
Information collected helps us determine if there are certain conditions that would prevent treatment or require medical clearance, however, Renew+Refresh does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Clients should seek medical advice prior to undergoing treatment, as treatments are done at your own risk.
We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES
Renew+Refresh cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen articles. We encourage clients to keep their valuables with them at all times.
At Renew+Refresh we do not accept tips. Your happiness is all the thanks we need.
